Dr. George James joined Fort Worth Heart in July 2005 after having completed his training in Cardiology at Tulane University in New Orleans. During his General Cardiology training he also completed a Fellowship in Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging. He served as Chief Fellow during his Cardiology Fellowship.

He received his Internal Medicine Residency Training at Oakwood Hospital in Detroit, Michigan during which time he also served as Chief Resident and received the Mohan Lall Award for Excellence in teaching. After completing his Residency training he worked as an Internist and Hospitalist at Mercy Hospital in Grayling, Michigan from 1997 - 2002 and had the opportunity to serve as Chair for the Division of Internal Medicine for 2 years.

His primary office location is on Boat Club Road in the North West part of Fort Worth. The office offers regular clinic hours, the ability to manage and monitor warfarin therapy and screening for heart disease and peripheral vascular disease.
